Hi dear students! You can practise the following list of questions. Try asking and answering them orally. It will be better if you can do the practice with another person :

Holidays:

  • How long do you usually go on holidays?
  • What do you do when you go on holidayson holidays?
  • Where were you on your last holiday?
  • Do you go alone or with somebody else?
  • When do you go on holidays?
  • Do you visit museums when you go on holiday?
  • Where did you last go on holiday?
  • Who did you go with?
  • Where did you stay?
  • How long did you go?
  • What places did you visit?
  • Was the hotel good?
  • What kind of food did you eat?
  • Did you have a good time?
  • Did you go shopping? Did you buy anything?
  • Was the weather good?
  • Did you go out at night?
  • Did you like it? Why?

Clothes:

  • Where do you usually buy your clothes?
  • When did you last go shopping?
  • Who did you go with?
  • Did you buy anything special?
  • Have you worn it?
  • How often do you buy clothes?
  • Where do you buy them?
  • Have you ever been at a Zara store?
  • Have you ever been at a Department store?
  • Which kind of shops do you prefer?

People around you:

  • What is your brother (sister, friend etc) like?
  • What does he do?
  • What is he/she like physically?
  • Do you get on well with him?
  • What do you most like about him/her?
  • What do you most dislike about him/her?
  • Have you ever had an argument with her? What about?

MONOLOGUES:

  • Talk about a person you live with (Describe him/her physically and his/her personality). Explain what you like about him/her.
  • Talk about an old friend. (What was he like, what he did, how you got on with him/her)
  • Talk about your last holiadays. (Places you visited, who you went with, where you satayed, what and where you ate, etc)
  • Talk about your favourite holiday.
  • Talk about your favourite shops for buying your clothes. What kind of clothes you usually buy, where and who with.
  • Talk about a dream you have had recently and what you think it means.
  • Talk about an anecdote you had on a holiday.
